Scott Jenkins has recently volunteered as CAAC’s new publicity officer. His role is all about sharing what’s happening across the club; from race results and member stories to events and social highlights. If there’s anything you think deserves a bit of a spotlight, please do let him know!
Scott joined CAAC in January 2025, and trains with Dave and Jan’s senior endurance group. You may know him better as the ‘Joggler’, since he often juggles three beanbags whilst he runs along. He insists that it’s easier than it looks, but admits that it’s best to master juggling standing still before taking to the roads!
A maths graduate from the University of Edinburgh, Scott works in the energy industry as a data scientist. A lifelong runner, he’s looking forward to sharing all of CAAC’s successes this cross-country season and beyond.
A huge CAAC thank you to our outgoing publicity officer Neil Hutton, who had done a fantastic job over the past three years. Neil’s written dozens of articles for the CAAC website and local newspapers, leaving a brilliant legacy to build on.
Drop Scott an email to say hello, or suggest an article at publicity@caac.org.uk.
