As many of you know, 2026 marks the Club’s 40th anniversary – CAAC was formed in October 1986. To celebrate, we’re organising a dinner and dance, some 40th anniversary mementos, and a race series, from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th September.
Dinner & Dance
Saturday 12th September, Leonardo Hotel, Clermiston
We hope to see as many members, partners, parents and former members as possible. If you know an ex-member, please pass this on and encourage them to come along.
Tickets are subsidised by the club and cost £45 per person. The dinner is open to members, juniors’ parents, and juniors (accompanied by an adult).
We need to finalise numbers soon, so please book via the form below as soon as you can. Please complete the form no more than once per family where possible.
40th Anniversary Mementos
Two items to mark the occasion, both free to members:
- A commemorative glass with the CAAC40 logo
- A technical t-shirt with the CAAC40 logo

The Race Series
We’re running a short, fun race series over five consecutive days between Wednesday 9th and Sunday 13th September. Enter the whole series or just individual races. There’ll be prizes for individuals and for training squads. Further details on each event to follow
Wednesday 9th September, 6:30pm: Trail Roughly 4 miles around Corstorphine Hill woods.
Thursday 10th September, 7:00pm: Autumn Handicap Saughton Track.
Friday 11th September, 6:30pm: Kaimes Up Hill Time Trial
Saturday 12th September, 9:30am: Park Run Pick your favourite parkrun and submit your time.
Sunday 13th September, 2pm: One Mile Relay Cycle path at the Balgreen tram stop. Teams picked by us.
