What a weekend of competition. One of our best ever.

Alice Mourao storms to English U20 Indoor 1500m title

Alice delivered a commanding performance to take gold at the English U20 Indoor Championships, stopping the clock at 4:31.71. After settling in for the opening 400m (72 seconds), she took control as the pace dipped, moving smoothly to the front by 800m. At 1000m she already held a 30m lead, and with a final 200m of 34 seconds, she was untouchable. An excellent run: watch at 17:18 here.
