I started helping when Lindsey asked for parents to help, I can’t remember when! What I remember was her enthusiasm while doing our first FVL event at Grangemounth. I thought it was only fair for me to contribute with my time to the club as CAAC has given my both children the opportunity to enjoy athletics while making new friends. From the start I have admired all the coaches for giving their time,(even at weekends when there are events!)and for their patience. I always have enjoyed watching athletics however I didn’t have any experience of coaching; CAAC has given me the opportunity to get some training. I enjoy learning every session and seeing children enjoy athletics and improving their performance in a relaxed environment. The atmosphere is great and I would encourage other parents to get involved.
