The Frame Running Squad provides an opportunity for athletes with physical impairments to take part in athletics in a structured, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Using running frames, athletes develop speed, endurance, and confidence while being part of the wider CAAC community. Sessions are tailored to individual needs, ensuring every athlete can train in a way that supports their development and enjoyment.
Athletes in the group have opportunities to take part in competitions and events at local, national, and international level.
Importantly, the club has frames available for athletes to use, making it easy to get started without needing specialist equipment.

Training is structured, adaptable, and focused on individual progression. Sessions may include:
- Frame running technique and control
- Speed and acceleration work
- Endurance-based efforts
- Games and group activities to build confidence and enjoyment
Sessions are adapted to suit each athlete, with coaching support ensuring that everyone can participate fully and safely.
