Andy started running during the Covid pandemic and joined the club in 2023. Having only done a few parkruns, joining an athletics club in his 50’s was a bit daunting. Andy has, however, found the Senior Endurance Squad really welcoming and beneficial for managing to run some decent times (when not suffering footballing injuries). Andy started coaching in early 2026.
Outside of work, Andy is a dad to 3 daughters and a grandparent 3 times over. He also sits as an Independent Member of Fostering and Adoption Panels for City of Edinburgh Council.
