Officials Courses

There's a link on Scottish Athletics homepage at the moment for Officials Courses: It's always a challenge to ensure that the club (and often meets/leagues as a whole) are adequately attended by officials. It would be a great advantage if we were to have more qualified officials to help all of our athletes to take part in matches.

Scottish Athletics Men's League report, Kilmarnock, 26th August 2018

Kilmarnock didn’t look that great when we arrived.  There’s a nice track next to the A77.  Some of us hadn’t been before and found that the temporary seating offered very little protection from the very visible and palpable elements.  It was the last match of the Scottish Athletics Men’s League season and Corstorphine AAC took 15 athletes, 3 officials and a couple of supporters to battle it out with the elements and other athletes.

Scottish Athletics FPSG Annual Awards

Scottish Athletics are looking for nominations at their annual awards ceremony for Clubs, coaches and volunteers.  As a club that has enjoyed success recently over all age groups and disciplines I would like to think that we could be in with a shout of being on the shortlist at least.

Whether this is for the club as a whole, coaches that have seen athletes gain national vests and records or the volunteers who help the coaches and officiate at events.

To vote go to the Scottish Athletics website.
