AAaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww. Well done.

I held off writing something here until I heard the results. I hoped to give you great news but can only deliver very good news. It seems our CSSAL team just missed out  on winning the 3rd Division by around 200 points. This is based on unscrutinised results but seems just too big a gap to close. The good news is, in 2011 we will start in the 2nd division and begin our campaign to break the promotion/demotion cycle.

I have to thank officials who helped on the day (Sheena, Stuart, Marie and Elspeth), I promise to get a rota for next season to spread the load. Read more »

Eildon 2 Hills Race 2010

With a quick spin round the infield and out through the town we were very quickly climbing the first hill, Cairns and McGovern led the way assuredly and well i followed further bhouyed by the onlookers stating 'Fergus knows the way!' and on checking behind there was Fergus coming the same way, ill note at this point Fergus is a Gala Harrier and admitted afterwards he is well aware of the route, but got carried away. The Seven Hills 2010

The Seven Hills ; Calton Hill, Castle Esplanade, Corstorphine Hill, Craiglockart Hill, Braid Hill, Blackford Hill, Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill = ~14 Miles & 1750m of ascent. Add the searing heat and all in all it made for a tough days running! All the hard work, sweat and blood spilled there is however no doubt though that this is one of best Edinburgh based events in the annual calendar.

Corstorphine were well represented by Simpson, Wilkie, Ferrington, Johnston, Brown, Williamson, Stewart, Anderson, Caldwell and myself. Read more »
