British Milers Club & Trafford Grand Prix

CAAC's middle distance athetes have been travelling, chasing races around the UK in search of seasons and personal bests. The British Milers Club meetings providing great opportunity to do so. The Rat Race

Last weekend myself, Nick and Susan took part in the Rat Race - a 2 day adventure race around Edinburgh.

I have done a write up on my blog which can be found here: http://jokrunning.blogspot.com/

Our final placing was 8th overall, and 4th mixed pair team which we were really pleased. Official results are here: http://www.ratraceadventure.com/upload/docs/1923/edinburgh2010weekender.pdf

Scottish National T&F Championships 2010

Cue slightly slow farmer character from Harry Enfield and friends, "This weekend i have mostly been running into the wind". It was the same for everyone but by 'eck it wasnt easy. Performances were a little disappointing all round some could say we were blown away! The highlight being Pilky's progression to the final of the Mens 1500m, though was a little short of pace once it hotted up. CAAC results below and link to others attached. No photaes of the wind swept pain yet! Read more »
