In late 1986 Corstorphine Athletics Club was founded. We are commonly referred to as CAAC. We have athletes of all ages and abilities taking part and competing in a wide range of athletic events.

training We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm - 9pm. Each session costs £3. In the Summer we meet at Saughton Athletics Track and in the winter at Forrester High School.

British Milers Club & Trafford Grand Prix

CAAC's middle distance athetes have been travelling, chasing races around the UK in search of seasons and personal bests. The British Milers Club meetings providing great opportunity to do so. It has proven worthwhile for the most travelled Douglas Selman who backed up a 3:51 performance in Belfast on Saturday with a new marginal personal best at Trafford last night in 3:51.15. Also at the Trafford meet Scott Pilkington ran a solo effort in the 800m to record a seasons best, and in the next heat Dermot Cummins did the same. Calum Mckenzie didnt travel quite as well on this occasion but posted a good marker. I fully expect this quartet to go and further reduce these marks before the seasons out. Selected results below.
