RACES TO CONSIDER

Hi there,

As we are nearly at the end of the cross country apart from the Nationals I thought it would be a good idea to think a bit further on leading up to the road race season in Spring / Summer.

Gartmorn 6 on 11th March --- this is a 6 mile trail race up through some muddy woods onto the reservoir path, loop around the reservoir and back through the woods.  Can be tough if muddy. Great food after in the village hall.

Winton 10k, Pencaitland  14th April  --- another trail run around the Winton estate. Can be muddy. Wee twist near the finish. Lovely event in lovely surroundings.

Run Mhor Hidden Glen 10k,  21st April  ---  clashes with Balmoral 10k. Only 16 spaces remaining.  Keith Hood and I did this last year. Tough 10k with long uphill 2-6 k then downhill 6-10k. Great food and beer afterwards in the barn, plus roaring log fire, hog roast , great event. Worth a visit if not doing Balmoral.

Hope to see some more CAACers at the events.

Will consider these. Always

Will consider these. Always good to do something a bit different than your standard 10k road race.
