Are You Racing Over The Next Few Weeks?

Are you racing anywhere this weekend ie the Gala 10k, Penicuik 10k or another race? If so would you mind taking some CAAC 5 flyers/entry forms to hand out or put on tables at the race? I can provide you with these tonight at training. Also if you have other races coming up over the next few weeks let me know.

We want to attract our largest ever field for the CAAC 5 which is on Wednesday 05 June but that means doing some publicity for the event and hopefully our club members can help with that.

Thanks

BC

Garmin 410 Reviews?

My current Garmin 405 seems to be coming to the end of it's life. I've spotted a good price for a Garmin 410 and was wondering if anybody in the club had a 410 and had any feedback on it?

thanks,

Chris

CAAC Panda needs a home

The CAAC Panda has been living in my front room for the last 6 weeks awaiting major head surgery to fix his race injuries incurred during the Tour of Fife. After a successful operation last night his head is back to full strength and he is now looking for a long term home.

Unfortunately I don't have any cupboards large enough, or own a garage, suitable for keeping him in. Can you provide him a place to stay between race support outings?

Catering donations for CAAC5. Please!

All donations of sandwiches, cakes, nibbles etc for post race gladly accepted. Please bring along your contribution on the night. Always popular with runners, officials & supporters.

Have you paid your club membership fees yet?

Very pleasingly over half of you have paid your club fees and the money has been given to our Treasurer Sheena, and is in the CAAC bank account.

However, this also means that the other half of you haven't yet paid - you know who you are.  More to the point, I also know who you are, so I will be very happy to receive your remittance pronto!

Penicuik 10km

hi,

Is anyone thinking of doing the Penicuik 10km this weekend and would they have space in their car for a grateful CAACer?

The delights of the 37 bus would rather be avoided...

thanks,

Chris
