Carketton Hill Carnage
It was a perfect night for hill running on Caerketton this year : driving rain and hill fog, but still a hard band of caac-athletes and supporters turned up to enjoy the weather.
The race starts with a token "jog" until it just gets rediculously steep and you have to walk up to the first summit. A nice wee run along the ridge to the next summit and back before the complete nuts down hill. I decided to the longer grass and heather was a better option for me to perform my aerobatics on the way down. A crazy fast finish as you basically can't stop at the bottom.
Post past libation in the steading was great, and you even got soup and a roll post race (not bad for the £2 entry). I think I need to take part in the bog n'burn series next year looks like great fun.
Results below, unfortunelty I was 9 places to fast to finish the magic 39th.

Well done and thank to everyone for coming along
